What Every Odds Format Actually Means
Decimal odds — the default on our sportsbook — show your total return per unit staked, including your original stake. Odds of 2.50 on a Football Betting Live market return 2.50 for every 1.00 you put in. Fractional odds, common in European football coverage, express profit only: 3/2 means three units profit for every two staked. Moneyline odds, used in some international
markets, show a positive number for underdogs and a negative number for favourites. Implied probability ties all three together: divide 1 by the decimal odds and multiply by 100 to get the percentage chance the market is pricing in. Knowing this lets you spot value before you commit.
